INDIANOLA, Miss.–One person was killed in a car wreck just before 8 p.m. Wednesday, in Indianola, according to a Facebook post from the Sunflower County Emergency Management Agency.
The person who was killed was not identified in the post. The victim was later ID’d as Yannick Noah Harris, 40, of Sunflower.
Three people were hurt, besides the fatality.
“One was flown to a regional trauma center, two were transported locally, and the fourth was pronounced dead at the scene,” said the post.
Several fire department vehicles responded both to the wreck and to help facilitate the helicopter ride.
