Greenville Police are actively investigating the city’s second homicide of the year, according to authorities. Police responded to a hotel in the 2500 block of Highway 82 East to find a male who was shot inside one of the rooms. After questioning witnesses, police identified two suspects. 21-year-old Jamya Briggs and 24-year-old Samuel Williams, both of Greenville, have been arrested and face Second Degree Murder Charges. Both suspects are in custody at the Washington County Regional Correctional Facility, awaiting their first court appearance.
