CLARKSDALE, Miss.–A man was shot and killed during an attempted hold-up Friday afternoon in Clarksdale. Police are still looking for the killer.
The attempted robbery and murder happened at the D&T Supermarket on North State St., about 5 p.m. Police said a man came into the store and held a gun on the clerk. Before the clerk could hand over any cash, the suspect shot him several times.
The suspect then ran behind the store.
Police have not provided any names, nor have they provided a description of the person they’re looking for.
