OXFORD, Miss.–An Oxford man has been charged with assaulting two police officers who were trying to arrest him during a scuffle at Saturday’s Morgan Wallen concert at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium on the Ole Miss campus.
Hunter Flanagan, 30, was charged with two counts of simple assault on a police officer.
Police say he kicked them and spit at them when they tried to put the cuffs on. An Ole Miss officer and a Lafayette County sheriff’s deputy were involved.
