GRENADA, Miss.–Urban areas like Jackson do not have a monopoly on illegal and unsightly dumping. In Grenada County, the sheriff’s department says they’ve investigated 16 illegal dump sites this year.
The latest was on Dora Dr., where household furniture ended up on the side of the road in the woods.
The sheriff’s dept. posted pictures to Facebook over the weekend of the mess, then the suspected truck. Monday afternoon they announced they had caught the suspects.
The post said that due to their ages their names were not being published. No charges were specified against the individuals.
