Greenville Police have arrested a suspect in connection with a homicide and attempted murder that occurred Saturday afternoon. The incident took place around 2 p.m. in the 1500 block of Kennedy Cove.
Authorities found 65-year-old Michael Maddox deceased at the scene. Additionally, 46-year-old Courtney Foxx was discovered with a stab wound and was initially transported to Delta Health Systems before being airlifted for further treatment in critical condition.
Police have charged 24-year-old Asia Brooks with murder and attempted murder. The investigation is ongoing, and specific details regarding the case are not being released at this time.
