HERNANDO, Miss.–Three people were shot at a house in the Mason Dr. area of Hernando Sunday morning.
Police say neighbors heard the gunshots and called for authorities shortly after 8 a.m. When police got there they found a man and a woman dead and another female victim shot, and critically hurt. She was taken to the hospital.
Police did not announce any arrests and say they are confident there is no danger to the community from the shooter, whom they did not name.
None of the victims were identified to the public Sunday.
