TATE COUNTY, Miss.–Independence High School is secure, said the Tate County Sheriff’s Dept., Wednesday. Hours earlier they posted on Facebook that there had been a bomb threat.
“The Tate County Sheriff’s Office request (sic) everyone avoid the area of Independence High School due to a bomb threat that was made against the school,” read the post.
That was the extent of information offered.
