BOBO, Miss. — Emergency crews responded to a serious two-vehicle collision involving a car and an 18-wheeler on Highway 61 South near Bobo on August 14, 2024. The Coahoma County Fire Department (CCFD) and Pafford EMS were dispatched to the scene around 3:35 p.m.
Upon arrival, responders found both vehicles severely damaged. One occupant sustained injuries and was transported by ambulance to a nearby medical facility. Firefighters from Lyon and Bobo also assisted in the response. The cause of the crash and the condition of the injured individual have not yet been released.
