ITTA BENA, Miss.–Two people were shot in an incident in the student union parking lot at Mississippi Valley State University early Sunday, according to a message sent to students and obtained by Delta Radio.
The message said neither of the victims was a student and both received prompt medical care. No one died in the shooting, which happened at about 1:30 a.m.
The school did not identify the victims.
Campus Police are now investigating. No arrests have been announced.
