ATLANTA–You may remember well the name Carlos Moore. He’s an attorney who served as city judge in both Clarksdale and Grenada, and who was booted out of those jobs for malpractice. He has announced he is now running for Congress in Georgia.
Moore represented Aderrien Murray, an 11-year-old boy accidentally shot in the chest by an Indianola police officer two years ago. He has also been an attorney of record in several other high-profile Mississippi cases.
Moore’s questionable practices included commentary on social media about cases pending before him.
Moore says he is running as a Democrat in the 13th Congressional District in Georgia.
