JONESTOWN, Miss. — A 28-year-old man died after being shot late Monday night in Jonestown, according to the Coahoma County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded shortly after 10 p.m. on March 16 to a reported shooting at a residence in the 500 block of Blanche Street in Jonestown. Upon arrival, officers located the victim inside the home and began administering life-saving measures until emergency medical personnel arrived.
The victim was identified as Travis Kinnard, 28. He was transported by Pafford Medical Services to Northwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center in Clarksdale, where he later died from multiple gunshot wounds.
Authorities said the case remains under investigation.
