GREENVILLE, Miss. — Greenville police have identified Phillip “Philboi” Webster as a suspect in the Aug. 23 homicide of Lakendrick “Big Mane” Motton.
Officers responded to the East Walker Street area after receiving a report of a shooting and found Motton suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
During the investigation, detectives reviewed surveillance footage and other evidence that led them to identify Webster as a suspect, according to the Greenville Police Department.
Webster, 38, is described as 6 feet, 1 inch tall and weighing about 205 pounds. His date of birth is Feb. 5, 1988.
Police are asking the public to provide information that could help locate Webster. Authorities warned the public not to approach or confront him.

The investigation remains active and ongoing. Webster is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
