Suspect Turns Himself in Following Greenville Homicide Investigation

GREENVILLE, Miss. — A man identified as a suspect in the Aug. 23 homicide of Lakendrick “Big Mane” Motton turned himself in to the Greenville Police Department Thursday morning, according to police.

Phillip “Philboi” Webster was developed as a suspect during the investigation into Motton’s death, police said. Webster voluntarily turned himself in to the department.

Police thanked the community, media partners and Washington County Crime Stoppers for providing information and helping investigators move the case forward.

The investigation remains active and ongoing. Police said additional information will be released when appropriate.
