CLEVELAND, Miss. — A 36-year-old Charleston man was found dead early Saturday after deputies responded to a domestic violence call at a residence on Pecan Drive, according to the Bolivar County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies arrived at approximately 1:32 a.m. Sept. 12 and found Andrew Antonio Freeman deceased on a couch with multiple gunshot wounds. Freeman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators determined the shooting occurred inside the residence. The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation.
Authorities arrested Kory Conrod, 21, of Ruleville, in connection with the shooting. The sheriff’s office did not provide additional details about the arrest.
The investigation remains ongoing. Additional information may be released as it becomes available.
