JONESBORO, AR (Ben Caxton) — As severe storms swept across the Delta and mid-south Saturday night, a tornado that stayed on the ground for almost 20 miles struck Jonesboro, Arkansas. No casualties were reported but 22 people were injured and 2 were hospitalized. Numerous homes, businesses, and vehicles were also damaged including two airplanes, plus the Mall at Turtle Creek sustained significant damage.
