HELENA-WEST HELENA, AR (Ben Caxton) — A dog named Scout who has spent 7 years at the Helena-West Helena animal shelter has a temporary home for the holidays. Scout is being fostered by a family in Russellville until he finds a forever home. The Humane Society of the Delta currently cares for over 250 dogs and 50 cats. It is a no-kill shelter so dogs and cats can stay there until they are adopted.
