Job Fair Links Workers With High Paying Jobs


On Wednesday, July 28th there will be a job fair held at the Elwyn Wards Recreation Center at 1446 Fairgrounds Road in Greenville. The event runs from 9 am to 3 pm and is designed to get residents of the Delta placed into positions at Fed Ex.

Applicants must be 18 years old and bring two forms of ID with them to the event. Pay starts at $20 an hour for all shifts, with medical, dental, and vision benefits, vacation pay, and tuition assistance. No experience is necessary and Boss Lady Workforce Transportation can even provide transportation if needed.

Pam Chatman is the founder of the Boss Lady Workforce Transportation project in the Mississippi Delta. The Boss Lady PChatman Workforce Transportation project has created a Direct Economic Impact to the Delta over 30-Million Dollars since conception (November 2018) and over 500 employees.

“There are so many people in the Delta that need opportunities with transportation,” said Pam Chatman, a former Greenville television news director and founder of Boss Lady Workforce Transportation.
