GREENVILLE, Miss.–Ashley Ricardo Brown of Greenville is going to prison for 12 years after pleading guilty to several charges this week. He was arrested last year in two separate incidents, at least one of which involved shooting into his ex-girlfriend’s house.
Brown was scheduled to go to trial, but avoided that by pleading at the last minute.
He pleaded guilty to aggravated assault, shooting into an occupied dwelling and two counts of being a felon with a firearm.
He got a 20-year sentence, with 12 to serve.
