A Health and Wellness Fair will be held Saturday, October 16, 2021, from 9 a.m.- 2 p.m., at the Community Health and Wellness Center of Isola. The center is located at 102 Julia Street, Isola, MS.
Sponsored by the Institute for the Advancement of Minority Health, the health and wellness fair will provide screenings for blood pressure, cholesterol, diabetes, and HIV.
The COVID-19 vaccine, booster shot, and rental assistance information will also be available.
Local physician, Dr. Jacqueline Hampton, will be on hand to answer questions regarding vaccinations and other health issues. The health and wellness fair is free and open to the public.
Event partners are the Institute for the Advancement of Minority Health, Health Center, Humphreys County Health Network, Humphreys County CHARPS, Mississippi Shine Project, Excel by 5, Kidz First, All My Children Daycare Services, and the Community Health and Wellness Center of Isola.
