GRENADA, Miss.–A Tennessee woman accused of aggravated kidnapping and burglary was found in Grenada County with the help of technology.
The Grenada County Sheriff’s Dept. says they were contacted Friday by Shelby County authorities, who were looking for Regan Kelly, and said they had pinged her cell phone on Carpenter Rd.
With help from the MBI and several other agencies, deputies found Kelly, along with the child police say she kidnapped and another child. Both were unharmed.
“Both children were found unharmed and were taken to our office to meet with CPS (Child Protective Services), where they were subsequently released to their proper legal guardians,” read a news release.
Kelly was taken to the Grenada County Jail and has now been taken back to Tennessee to face a judge.
