In a show of support for educational initiatives in the Mississippi Delta, Mayor Errick D. Simmons and President Charles Hardy of the 100 Black Men of the Mississippi Delta organization graciously accepted a generous donation of $1,000. The donation was presented by Harlow’s Casino Resort & Spa General Manager Roscoe Green in preparation for the highly anticipated 100 Black Men’s Annual Scholarship Banquet. The event is scheduled to take place on June 1, 2023, at 7:00 PM.
The Annual Scholarship Banquet is a significant occasion that not only celebrates the accomplishments of exceptional students but also provides them with financial assistance to pursue their educational aspirations. With the support of Harlow’s Casino Resort & Spa, Mayor Simmons and President Hardy aim to make a meaningful impact on the lives of deserving students in the Mississippi Delta region.
