LEXINGTON, Miss.–An 18-year-old man was shot in the chest and killed in broad daylight on a street in Lexington, said the city;s police chief. Now police are asking for tips if anyone knows who might have done it.
Chief Charles Henderson identified the victim as Tashuan Colbert.
He said Colbert had been seen walking with someone on Rathell Rd., where his body was found about 5 p.m. Tuesday.
The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation is assisting Lexington Police.
