OXFORD, Miss.–A little more than a month after Corey Adams, 18, of News Orleans, was shot and killed in Cordova, Tenn., police still have not announced an arrest in the Ole Miss freshman’s murder. Now the reward for info that leads to an arrest has gone up once again.

Police are now hoping that the $21,000 reward announced Thursday will be motivation for someone with knowledge about who pulled the trigger that night, to come forward.

Adams was killed after a pool party outside a house. Shelby County investigators believe there may have been as many as 100 people at the party the night of July 19.

When the shooting was over, Adams was dead and four other people were in the hospital, deputies picked up more than 40 shell casings from the crime scene.

Crimstoppers says $11,000 of the reward money came from a GoFundMe set up by the family.

The remaining $10,000 is from Crimestoppers.
