TALLAHATCHIE COUNTY, Miss.–Sam Seymour, 49, of Holcomb in Grenada County, managed to evade a search that included experts from several counties and search dogs from Parchman and Batesville. Though his girlfriend, Emily Cockerham, 37, was captured after she turned up at someone’s house, Seymour remained on the loose.

The chase began near Tillatoba and went through several counties, including Grenada and Tallahatchie, which is where Seymour’s truck was discovered.

There were indications that Seymour, who is wanted on several outstanding warrants from several law enforcement agencies, was armed, it was unclear if police were certain he had a gun.

He’s described as white, with black hair and blue eyes, about six ft. tall, 240 lbs.
