Authorities have announced an arrest in connection with the shooting death of thirty-three-year-old Arthur Coleman, Jr., which took place on September 24, 2003. Bolivar County Sheriff’s Department was called in to assist the Mound Bayou Police Department after officers discovered Coleman had been shot around 12:50 a.m. that day. Sadly, Coleman succumbed to his multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Latora Henry, aged forty-six, was apprehended and taken into custody in Montgomery County, Texas, after a warrant was issued for his arrest. Following extradition to Bolivar County on December 13, 2023, Henry now faces murder charges. The bond for Henry was set at $250,000.
