Authorities from the Clarksdale Police Department have taken James Copeland into custody. He is charged with the murder of Roosevelt Walker, who was found deceased with gunshot wounds at the intersection of South Edwards and Kentucky Streets on Tuesday, August 22nd.
He is scheduled to make his initial appearance in Clarksdale Municipal Court on Thursday, August 24th.
