GREENVILLE, Miss.–You may remember the murder on May 8, of a Greenville man who was sitting in his yard when someone drove up on a bicycle and shot him in the side. Police say they’ve made an arrest in that killing.
The victim of that shooting was Broderick Dean, 48, of Greenville.
It happened about 3:40 p.m. on South Delesseps. Dean was taken to the hospital, where he died five days later.
Police say the man they arrested is Roderick Rayford, also of Greenville.
Police did not discuss a motive or say how he was connected to the killing. Rayford was arrested last week and is in the Washington County Jail.
