YAZOO CITY, Miss.–A man believed to have murdered his wife may be headed for Greenville, said Yazoo County Sheriff Jeremy “Bull” McCoy. Trevor Kennterri was being tracked in the woods in the Benton area when K-9 officers brought in from Madison and Rankin counties lost his trail in Sunday’s rain.
McCoy said in a Sunday Facebook post he believes Kennterri may have been picked up by someone, but should be considered armed and dangerous.
He was originally wanted on a domestic assault charge. McCoy said his wife died after the attack, though, and that Kennterri is now a murder suspect.
He’s described as Black, 5 ft. 9, 180 lbs., last seen wearing all black, with a pinstripe down the side of his pants.
If you know where he may be, you’re asked to call 662-746-0014.
