BATEVILLE, Miss.–A Batesville woman has been charged with attempted murder in connection with the bomb that was found and detonated by the ATF, the Tupelo Bomb Squad and the ATF Monday.

She is being held in Lafayette County, said a news release from the Panola County Sheriff’s Dept. That’s where a bomb was found June 20, on a vehicle.

Neither sheriff’s department has said who the intended victim was.

Upon serving a search warrant at a house near Hwy. 35 south and Morrow Rd., south of Batesville, agents found bomb-making materials and inside the house, found a bomb.
