MARSHALL COUNTY, Miss.–Kelly Sistrunk was 30 years old. The Memphis woman’s body was found in Marshall County Sunday morning. She’d been shot in the head and her body was about 50 ft. from I-22.
Sheriff Kenny Dickerson told reporters the woman’s family had been looking for her in the area because her cell phone had pinged there.
Police believe the gunshot came from a pistol. The body was found under a pine tree.
No arrests have been announced. She’d been missing since Jan. 28.
