The Bolivar County Sheriff’s Office has arrested Jamarion Jackson, 22, of Rosedale, for the shooting death of 61-year-old Billy Hamilton. Jackson has been charged with Capitol Murder and was denied bond. He is currently being held at the Bolivar County Regional Correction Facility.
On Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at approximately 6:00 p.m., the Bolivar County Sheriff’s Office received a call of a possible body lying near the entrance of the Great River Road State Park in Rosedale. When deputies arrived on the scene, they located the body of a deceased white male who appeared to have been shot.
