The Bologna Performing Arts Center’s Office of Arts Education needs the public to vote for its submission to the Teach for America’s Pitch with a Purpose Grant Semi-finalist Round.
The public is asked to please vote for the BPAC’s Read It, See It, Hear It, Be It proposal at https://pitchwithapurpose.us.launchpad6.com/PWAP2022/entry/7. You can vote daily until February 8th at 11:59 PM.
The Read It , See It, Hear It, Be It program at the BPAC comprises all of its year-round arts education programming for children ages 4 – 18. Educational opportunities for children include CORE Arts and PLUS camps, 5 professional-level matinee performances, multiple student and teacher workshops, discounted book distribution programs, and scholarships to attend these events for 100s of students. These programs and scholarships will allow approximately 7,000 students, teachers, and community members access to arts education programming not available to them in their districts during the 2022-2023 school year.
“We are so lucky to have this opportunity for funding from Teach for America for our educational programming. This chance is only available because our Executive Director, Laura Howell, was a 2008 Teach for America Core Member-only alumni of TFA can apply. We really need to the public to help us by voting for our pitch video to get us to the next round in the funding contest. Please consider voting for our wonderful programs for kids in this region!” said the BPAC’s Arts Education Director, Holly Senter.

While this is a public platform, in order to ensure fairness and accuracy of the voting process, all viewers will be required to register on the site before casting their votes. You only must register once to vote for the entire time period.
