BYHALIA, Miss.–A two-year-old was shot in the head as a man and woman fought over a gun early Monday morning in Marshall County.
The shooting was just after midnight at a house on Thornton Cove in Byhalia.
The child was laying in the bed when that child was hit by the bullet. The child, who was not named by police, was taken to LeBonheur Children’s Hospital in Memphis, where the condition was listed as extremely critical.
The man and woman, who also were not identified by the Sheriff’s Dept., were taken in, but were not immediately charged.
