LEFLORE COUNTY, WI (Ben Caxton) — One woman is dead after a Christmas stabbing in Leflore County. 26-year-old Janarius Montreal Street was arrested by the Leflore County Sheriff’s Department after he called deputies to his residence in the Glendale subdivision shortly before 8:00 AM Christmas morning. On arrival they found Street sitting outside, and inside the home the victim, 42-year-old Laroy Booker, who had been stabbed multiple times. Street told deputies the stabbing was in self-defense after an argument between the two escalated. Street has been charged with murder.
