CLARKSDALE, Miss. — A Clarksdale man has been arrested and charged with two counts of attempted murder in connection with a shooting in the city’s Oakhurst neighborhood, according to the Clarksdale Police Department.
Police said Courdaries White was taken into custody and formally charged Thursday with two counts of attempted murder. His bond was set at $500,000 cash on each count, for a total of $1 million cash.
Authorities said White was already out on a felony bond related to his alleged involvement in an unrelated homicide investigation earlier this year.
Police did not release additional details about the shooting or identify the victims.
The Clarksdale Police Department said the investigation remains active and ongoing.
White is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
