Clarksdale Police have released a photo of the suspect who shot and killed a store clerk last week.
The store owner was shot and killed during an attempted hold-up Friday afternoon in Clarksdale.
The attempted robbery and murder happened at the D&T Supermarket on North State St., about 5 p.m. Police said a man came into the store and held a gun on the clerk. Before the clerk could hand over any cash, the suspect shot him several times.
The suspect then ran behind the store.
