TUNICA, Miss.–It was not clear how long it may take to clear the tracks and get it repaired, but you are being urged to stay clear of the site of the Monday train derailment in Tunica County.

The Tunica County Sheriff’s Department posted pictures of the cleanup effort with heavy machinery being used to push and pull the errant train cars Tuesday.

The area is near the interchange of highways 3 and 4.

“We are urging drivers to travel with caution in this area. There is a number of trucks, tractors, trailers, and emergency vehicles, as crews work to clear this site. The road is not closed but we urge you to slow down and be mindful of the workers in this area,” read the post.

It was also still unclear what caused the derailment, which happened about 3:30 p.m. Monday.

The Canadian National Railway and the National Transportation Safety Board are working on an investigation. No one was reported hurt in the wreck and two cars that were carrying hazardous materials stayed on the track.
