Coahoma County Fire Department Engine 1, Engine 4, and Pafford EMS units responded to the area of McKee Rd for a two-vehicle collision with reports of subjects being entrapped inside one vehicle and ejected from the other. Upon fire crews’ arrival, crews located one car fully engulfed with flames and multiple injured subjects. Fire personnel assisted Paramedics with triage and patient handling. One subject was airlifted to an area trauma center and multiple were transported by local ambulance. The conditions and identity of the subjects were not immediately available. Firefighters from Lyon, Friarspoint, Jonestown, and Bobo also responded to the scene to provide assistance. The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
