COAHOMA COUNTY, Miss. — Coahoma County School District officials say schools will remain in session Monday, Sept. 21, following threatening social media posts concerning Coahoma County High School and a member of its administration.
In a public statement, the district said the matter has been reported to law enforcement and is being actively addressed.
District officials said they take all threats seriously and that the safety of students and employees remains their highest priority.
The district said it will continue working with law enforcement and taking necessary precautions to maintain a safe school environment.
Officials also urged families and community members not to repost or circulate the threatening content.
