COAHOMA COUNTY, Mis..–If you’ve been taking advantage of the monthly food distribution program from the Coahoma County Sheriff’s Dept., that will no longer happen.
In a brief letter posted to the Sheriff’s Dept. Facebook page, Sheriff Marlo Magsby, Sr., said that grant funding had been discontinued for the Mississippi Food Bank, which put an end to the monthly distribution.
“It has been a pleasure to serve you in that capacity,” said Magsby.
He added that the department would look for ways to possibly help in the future.
