ROLLING FORK, Miss.–You can expect strong to severe storms across the Delta today and tonight, with occasional heavy rain, says the National Weather Service. But, there is a chance most of the rough weather will stay to the south.
Damaging winds, large hail, flooding and tornadoes are all possible.
Once the rough weather moves out, high pressure moves in and you can expect consistent temperatures at 90 or above for highs next week.
While the heat is not expected to rise to the dangerous category, you could see a few days with heat indices at 100 or above.
