Dr. Tim Lampkin, CEO and Founder of Higher Purpose Co., has been named as one of the select few individuals to be part of the inaugural cohort of the Obama Foundation’s Leaders USA program. The announcement comes as a recognition of Dr. Lampkin’s contributions to economic justice and his dedication to positive change.
The Obama Leaders program, a pioneering six-month initiative, aims to foster the growth and collaboration of emerging leaders across multiple continents, including the United States, Africa, Asia-Pacific, and Europe. Drawing inspiration from the enduring ideals and legacy of President and Mrs. Obama, the program underscores a leadership paradigm built upon foundational values. Its virtual format allows participants to connect and learn innovatively, borderless.
Dr. Lampkin’s selection from an exceptionally competitive pool of applicants underscores the impact of his work in the Mississippi Delta. His economic justice nonprofit, Higher Purpose Co., has been a driving force in supporting Black entrepreneurs, artists, and farmers throughout Mississippi.
