SHELBY, Miss. — Mississippi Valley State University alumnus and Shelby native, Corterrius Allen, popularly known as “DaCakeGoat,” is set to compete as a contestant on the highly anticipated second season of the baking competition show, “Is It Cake Too?” The premiere of the season is scheduled to be streamed exclusively on Netflix starting June 30.
Allen, an emerging star in the baking world, has garnered widespread attention for his extraordinary cake designs and creative skills. Hailing from Shelby and an alumnus of Mississippi Valley State University, Allen’s journey from a small-town baker to a national television competition participant has captured the admiration and support of his local community.
