DeSoto County Man Arrested

OLIVE BRANCH, Miss.–A six-month drug investigation that spanned from Memphis into Mississippi, resulted in the arrest this week of a DeSoto County man.
Justin Thompson, 22, was found during a search of an undisclosed location in Olive Branch, Wednesday, said police. They say he had a stolen gun, $70,000 in jewelry, $180,000 in cash and a pound and a half of pot.
He is charged with possession of marijuana with intent to manufacture, deliver and sell.
The investigation so far has netted more than 500 lbs. of marijuana, much of it found at a house in Memphis, sealed in baggies.
Robert McKinley, 33, of Memphis, has also been charged in the case.
