SOUTHAVEN, Miss.–It was a repeat of what happened over the past several weeks in Tate County Wednesday, only a bit north. Bomb threats were made against Southaven High School and DeSoto Central High School, said the DeSoto County Sheriff’s Dept.
Just as in Tate County, the schools were evacuated and bomb-sniffing police dogs were brought in to search for bombs.
They found none and the schools were given the all clear.
But, just like in Tate County, no one has been arrested.
The Sheriff’s Dept. did not say how they received the threats.
“We are working with our local, State, and Federal partners to identify the source of these threats,” read a statement posted to Facebook. “Please, if you have any information regarding these threats, contact local law enforcement.”
