SHAW, Miss. — New information has emerged in the investigation of a double fatal shooting discovered late Monday near the Cypress View Apartments.
The Shaw Police Department reported that officers responded to a call of shots fired around 11:55 p.m. Dec. 15, 2025, in the area of 305 Alexander St. A silver Nissan Altima was found parked nearby, drawing the attention of the responding officer.
Police said two unidentified males were located inside the vehicle, both wearing ski masks and hooded sweatshirts. Investigators determined both victims had been shot in the head and died at the scene.
Authorities later learned the vehicle had been reported stolen out of Greenville earlier that night, at approximately 8 p.m. The Bolivar County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene and continues to work with Shaw police as the investigation moves forward.
