GREENVILLE, Miss. — A Greenville man has been arrested in connection with a burglary at a Dollar Tree early Wednesday morning.
Police said officers responded to an alarm at the store on Highway 82 East around 3 a.m. on Aug. 28. When they arrived, they found the glass on the front door broken and saw a man dressed in black walking beside the building.
After a short foot chase, officers arrested 33-year-old Quincy Thomas of Greenville. Investigators said Thomas had taken miscellaneous items from the store.
Thomas was charged with one count of business burglary and booked into the Washington County Regional Correctional Facility. He is awaiting his initial court appearance.
Authorities noted that all suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty.
