The Delta State University College of Business and Aviation (COBA) has announced a significant enrollment boost of 24.1% for the Fall 2023 semester compared to the previous year. The surge is attributed to intensified efforts in marketing to potential students and enhancing retention strategies for existing ones across various programs within the college.
Among the standout increases is the Bachelor of Business Administration in Management program, witnessing an exceptional growth of 52.8%. Notably, the fully online Integrated Master of Business Administration program experienced a substantial rise of 60.3%, while the traditional MBA program saw a commendable increase of 44%. Additionally, the Bachelor of Business Administration in Accountancy marked a noteworthy uptick of 41.7%, with programs in flight operations and computer information systems also enjoying a robust growth of nearly 25%.
