Tyler Goad, a junior Finance major at Delta State University (DSU), has been honored with the prestigious Mississippi Banker’s Association Education Foundation Leadership Scholarship. The $2,000 scholarship is granted annually to a junior majoring in banking or finance at a state-sponsored university. Notably, DSU students have clinched both major scholarships awarded by the MBA this year.
Keshawn Jennings, a DSU senior, had earlier secured the Orrin H. Swayze Scholastic Award, a $5,000 scholarship from the MBA. The double win highlights DSU’s exceptional talent in the field of finance.
Tyler Goad, hailing from Tupelo, is excelling academically and on the soccer field as a dedicated defender for DSU’s soccer team. His achievement was celebrated at the Mississippi Young Banker’s Conference on September 19th in Flowood.
